Now it’s starting again with Inter-Juve, the championship seems to be heading towards a classic of our football, the strongest rivalry. There is no comparable derby in Milan, Rome or Turin. Inter-Juve, what Gianni Brera defined as an Italian derby, has become something ideological. A divisive universe in line with “commercial exchange” because there has never been a lack of changes of pitches, coaches, players and managers, passed from one club to another, with illustrious and contemporary examples. Anyone who thinks that Calciopoli was the spark is wrong. For reasons of space and synthesis, a lot had already happened before 1998, our starting point.
