Teodosic welcomes Virtus Bologna: “Thank you for these years”

Milos Teodosic and Virtus Bologna say goodbye. With the failure of an extra period, a four-year journey is cut short, a long and successful story: with the V Nere shirt, the Serbian champions won a championship (in 2021), broke a 20-year fast for the club and were voted MVP of the finals ), a EuroCup in 2022 (also in this case MVP of the final) and two Supercups. In his future Red Star, with whom the player signed a one-year contract.

The Emilian club released the Serbian champions’ greeting to their fans: “I want to say thank you to all Virtus. Thank you for the opportunity and honor you gave me to wear the Virtus tank top and be the protagonist of something great moments. A big thank you to President Massimo Zanetti for these four special years! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with two amazing coaches, Aleksandar Djordjevic and Sergio Scariolo. It meant a lot to me because I had the opportunity to learn something new again – explained Teodosic – I will remember these four years with a smile, also thanks to all the club’s employees and, of course, to the Virtus fans. They were always there, beyond the result, always shouting cheers and chanting. Last but not least important, thanks to all my teammates! I’m sure we’ll see each other again in the future and I can’t wait!”
