Valentina Brandi will play for Albese
COMO Valentina Brandi, last purchase in chronological order of Tecnoteam Albese Volley Como for the new competitive season in A2. The setter, originally from Milan, started playing volleyball as a child, also because sport has always been the protagonist in the Brandi house. The father, Alberto, is in fact a journalist and TV presenter at Mediaset, a big football fan, a face known to all fans for years.
When his commitments allow, Alberto follows Valentina’s journey with much affection and attention. The new Tecnoteam player is the third daughter of the Mediaset journalist: the other two sisters (Ludovica and Benedetta) also play volleyball like her.
THE CAREER–
Despite her young age, Valentina has a curriculum full of important experiences and has also reached very high levels in the youth categories of the most famous clubs in Italy. The Milan setter’s first important adventure in the senior team was at Volleyrò Casal de’ Pazzi, where she played in Serie D in 2017/18 and at the same time in the U14, while the following season she made a big leap in the category and stood ahead their first championship in Serie B2 and continued to play in the U16. In the 2019/2020 season, double use with the jerseys of Uyba and Orago both in the U16/18 and in the B2 series. The 2021/21 season was marked by his first experience in Serie B1 at Orago, where he will also play for the U17 and U19 categories. An equally important season was that with the jersey of the noble Igor Novara, who further enriched his career both by participating in the Serie A B1 and by taking part in the national final of the U18 category, which ended with reaching fourth place. Then the season in Messina, the first in the A2 class, was crowned with a salvation through a truly exceptional championship final.
